Structural Strengthening

Carbon fibre is an extremely efficient, light weight, cost effective and reliable technique for the structural strengthening of Concrete, Steel and Timber elements within buildings and structures. This technology is now a widely accepted, as a technique for seismic upgrading, locally trimming apertures, increased load capacity and restoration of damage/load carrying capacity, including fire damage without adding significant load.

CarboComp is many times stronger than steel, extremely durable and combined with its light weight, is easy to apply. Offered as fabric for wrapping columns and shear strengthening of beams, and in pre-engineered laminates, which can uniquely be restrained with mechanical fixtures, allowing CarboComp to be installed quickly and efficiently with minimal manpower, simple scaffolding and no lifting equipment.
